The PDAUSS2000 is an ultrasound diagnostic tool that detects ultrasound in a narrow frequency band centered at 40,000 Hz.
The receiver detects the ultrasound and converts it so that human can hear the corresponding sound through the headphones. The user is able too pinpoint the source of the ultrasound because the receiver has a direction reception. The headset also serves to reduce or mask out ambient sound. the user can then better concentrate on the converted ultrasound - indication the operating condition of working components, pressure or vacuum leaks and electrical damage.
The PDAUSS2000 identifies defects while equipment is operating. It is non-destructive and non-invasive.
