The PCL-18B cross beam is an adapter that rests between two PCL-18B mobile lift columns, crossing under the frame of the vehicle being lifted. This lets operators perform wheel service on vehicles when using BendPak’s mobile lifts.
The PCL-18B Cross Beam is a support beam that connects two PCL-18B Mobile Column Lifts and allows you to safely and securely lift most heavy-duty commercial vehicles from their chassis frame, giving you complete wheels-free access to perform a variety of wheel maintenance.
BendPak’s Mobile Column Lifts are touted for their mobility and heavy-duty construction, handling big trucks up to 144,000 lbs. with ease. Because of their construction, Mobile Column Lifts utilize the wheels for its lifting function, evenly distributing the weight across every lift. This gives you the power to perform maintenance underneath vehicles of any size. But it also leaves you without the ability to access your tires.
The PCL-18B Cross Beam is the answer. When installed, the beam’s extended Frame Cradle Pads engage the vehicle at the manufacturer-recommended lifting points, allowing easy access to wheels and suspension. Each PCL-18B Cross Beam comes with four Frame Cradle Pads of varying heights and two sliding receivers, making it quick and easy to adjust the height of your pads. And with the sliding receivers gliding smoothly along the support beam, the PCL-18B now has the versatility to reach any lifting point under your vehicle.
With an 18,000-lb. lifting capacity per beam, the PCL-18B Cross Beam was built for its durability and safety. Ideal for lifting and servicing school buses and other super-long and heavy vehicle types, the PCL-18B Cross Beam is the perfect tool for the biggest projects your shop encounters.
