Many of these are a part of AMGO®’s Super-Asymmetric line, which has no base plate and an overhead safety shut-off device. The asymmetric arms allow the operator to load vehicles in either an asymmetric or symmetric configuration. These AMGO® hydraulics 2 post lifts also feature extension adaptors, stackable rubber pads, self-lubricating UHMW Polyethylene sliders and bronze bushings, and more. The lifting capacity of these depends on the model—they range from 9,000 lbs. to 10,000 lbs. The other car lifts featured here are symmetrical or super-symmetric. Symmetrical arm configurations have four-piece three-stage arms, whereas super-symmetric arms provide versatility when choosing between asymmetric and symmetric positions and eliminates the need for two different kinds of lifts. Some of these are designed with base plates, giving the lift greater strength capability. Choosing the right life for your garage will depend on a number of factors: the space allotted for lifts, the typical weight and type of vehicles you work on, and the height of the shop. If you’re buying lifts for the first time or for a new space, be sure to take measurements before ordering.
When you place your order, you’ll have several delivery options for your lift. The AMGO® hydraulics 2 post lifts require a forklift to be properly removed from the delivery truck, which you may already have.
