The Atlas® 12AWFSL 12,000 lb. scissor alginment lift has all the same features as the Atlas® 12ASL lift but with the addition of built in runway lifts known as the "Wheels Free" lifting system. When a vehicle is loaded on the 12AWFSL lift the "Wheels Free" jacks will raise a vehicle by the frame, lifting it so the wheels come off the runways for easier access and to facilitate alignments. The "Wheels Free" jacks are conveniently controlled at the lifts control console.
The Atlas® 12AWFSL has a lifting height of over seven feet so that it may be floor mounted or recessed in the floor for flush mounting. The full frame under the scissor lift provides for maximum stability.
The separate control panel may be conveniently positioned to allow easy access for the operator. The 220 volt (single phase) electric/hydraulic power unit is housed inside the metal control panel box. The push button controls activate the raising and lowering of the lift. The sophisticated air actuated lock system is automatically engaged and disengaged as the lift is being raised or lowered. The lift has a safety lowering limit switch. Once the lift platforms are lowered to within 10-inches of the ground, the lift automatically stops its descent. The Down button needs to be released and depressed again to allow the lift to go down completely.
This combo package also includes two of the the popular Atlas® RJ-6 rolling bridge jacks. The jacks are perfect for raising a vehicles wheels off the lifts runways in order to service tires and brakes.
The Atlas® RJ-6 rolling jack is the perfect accessory for either the Atlas® 12 AWFSL or Atlas® 12 ASL alignment racks. The Atlas® RJ-6 (6,000 lbs. capacity) air/hydraulic rolling jack may also be used on competitive scissor lifts and four post lifts that have welded rails on the inside of the runways. Please contact our sales team to determine if the Atlas® RJ-6 rolling jack will fit your lift.
The "wheels free" system that is built into many of the Atlas® scissor lifts is designed to reach and lift most vehicles. Some customers like to use the rolling jacks to lift either the front or the rear of the vehicle at one time.
The Atlas® RJ-6000 (Air/Hydraulic) comes standard with a set of peg style truck adapters which increases the lifting height of the lift pads. These truck adapters will allow the Atlas® RJ-6000 rolling hydraulic jack to raise most pick up and larger trucks that will sit higher than the average passenger car.
Important: The Atlas® RJ-6 is designed and engineered to operate on "delivered" air pressure of between 70-105 PSI. If you exceed 105 PSI, you may damage your jack. For more information on the recommended operating air pressure of the Atlas® RJ-6 Click Here.
