JohnDow JDI-LP4 17-Gallon Low-Profile Portable Oil Drain

Designed for use with heavy-duty trucks, buses, RV’s and other low profile heavy-duty equipment. Rugged steel construction stands-up to the toughest shop conditions. Can be used asgravity drain or with pump assist evacuation system or optional air evacuation kit.

The all steel construction makes this low-profile drain the workhorse of a heavy-duty repair shop. With a 10" ground clearance this drain fits under most heavy-duty vehicles, RV’s, and buses.

Expanded Metal Shield
An expanded metal shield covers the reservoir area. This helps reduce splash during the draining process and keeps tools and debris from falling into the reservoir.

Industrial Casters and Wheels
The 6" front swivel casters and 6" rear wheels make this drain easy to maneuver and transport.

Long-Reach T-Handle
The 35" long T-Handle makes it easy to position the drain under the vehicle and in the precise drain area.

Enclosed Reservoir
The reservoir area is enclosed with a beveled top that directs used oil through a 2" drain port. This cover keeps oil from splashing and splling during transport. It also allows the drain to be converted to a self-evacuation model.

The optional JDI-EK Air Evacuation Kit converts the JDI-LP4 into a self-evacuating drain.

Air Regulator & Safety Relief Valve
The regulator and safety relief valve are installed in two ports on the rear of the drain. A metal guard surrounds them to protect against damage. The fixed 7psi regulator allows the proper amount of compressed air to enter the drain during the evacuation process while the safety relief valve prevents over-pressurizing the reservoir.

Quick Disconnect Evacuation Hose
The 10' evacuation hose includes a quick disconnect coupler making the evacuation process clean and easy. The male coupler is attached to the gate valve on the drain while the female coupler is attached to the hose. When not in use the hose can be permanently attached to the storage tank.
